I'm voting Democrat because I believe that the best strategy in war is defeat. It broadens the mind to learn Japanese, German and Arabic. Talk about multiculturalism! Not true, and a sad attempt at a joke. I'm voting Democrat because I'm mad that George W. Bush hasn't caught Bin Laden. That's because Bin Laden is the only Islamic terrorist in the world. Or, because Bush has run the economy into the ground and is always a step behind his EU counterparts...who are clearly trying to manipulate the dollar to hurt us even more, so long as right-wingers are in power (keep in mind that oil is traded in dollars---this doesn't hurt Europe at all). I'm voting Democrat because I believe that if I don't have enough money, the solution is for the government to take more of my money. Who needs money when gas is $5 per gallon? Or, because borrow and spend is worse than tax and spend...and you have yet to mention a service that can be cut easily without inflicting pain. If there is a service that can be cut...name it. (There are several agencies that should be consolidated, but that is besides the point.) I'm voting Democrat because I believe that the ideal family is two homosexual bonobos, a goat and a parrot raising a human baby. Love and compassion is all it takes to make a successful family! And this is completely irrelevant. A Republican failing to see this is blind. I'm voting Democrat because it's my body, and if I want to kill my baby, I'll do it, even if its head is in the birth canal. If I want to cut out my intestines and feed them to the crocodiles, I'll do that too. That's the freedom our forefathers enshrined in the Constitution. And this is a problem HOW again? Keep in mind that Republicans, if they had their way, or at least some of them, would force a victim of sexual assault who gets pregnant as a direct result of it to carry the baby to term. I'm voting Democrat because our enemies on the battlefield deserve comfy hotel rooms, Pay-Per-View, prostitutes and all the benefits of American citizenship. Wrong again. Republicans appointed the key justices who put the USA in this quandary (Kennedy was appointed by Reagan, and Souter was appointed by Bush.) I'm voting Democrat because I believe we need other countries' permission for me to turn down my thermostat. Prove this. I'm voting Democrat because I care about the real victims of crime -- criminals. Prove this again. This is only a few loonies on the Democrat side...and both sides have a few loonies on either side who do the same thing. Also, the only surprise about the Patrick O. Kennedy case was that it was that close. I'm voting Democrat because the real cure for racism includes preferential policies based on race -- particularly in presidential voting. If you believe that a black candidate ought to be qualified, as well as black, you're worse than Bull Conner. Prove this. I'm voting Democrat because everyone deserves crappy healthcare. Sure, you'll have to wait years for that life-saving cancer surgery. But it's first come, first served at the cemetery! Again, please prove this. I'm voting Democrat because I believe in minority rights (except in Muslim countries), free speech (with regard to pornography but not conservative talk radio), environmentalism (unless we're talking about Al Gore's house) and diplomacy (but never backed by the threat of military force). Again, that is factually incorrect, as the Supreme Court has already ruled on the pornography issue saying that it cannot be protected by the Constitution. Because that fact is wrong, that entire argument hits fail. I'm voting Democrat because I like the words 'hope' and 'change.' Also 'kazoo.' That's a funny word. Or, because the opposition's positions are known...and are bad for the future of the United States as a whole in the long run. Again, tax and spend >>> borrow and spend, because under borrow and spend, we are at the mercy of foreign investors and governments who can pull our strings vis a vis exports and imports. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that America's founders were rich, white, greedy xenophobes, and that America's founding principles are hogwash requiring periodic editing from an unelected group of liberal judges. Or, because the founding fathers created this system knowing (or should have known) full well what may happen. Anthony Kennedy, despite what you (wrongly) think, ruled in the Exxon, Kennedy, Boumediene, and Heller cases as the Constitution (or as the moral majority in the Kennedy case) says (or is growing to a consensus---something Alito failed to see, by saying that Coker (incorrectly) hurt debate on the death penalty for crimes not involving murder...as states had a long time to consider it, and 45 states had declined (only states that actually had their statutes struck down are relevant). Most of all, I'm voting Democrat because I like the ideas they have over in France, but I don't feel like moving there. I'll threaten to move, but I really won't. After all, I have a good job, healthcare, lower taxes, free speech and a social framework that promotes family structure. And all of it is defended by the most effective fighting force on the planet. The problem with lower taxes is that the US is HURTING itself in the long run...after all, the payment for debt service will have to come from somewhere. If only the institution of far-left values resulted in a great country. Oh, well. That won't stop me from voting Democrat, though. After all, I'm voting Democrat because thought isn't one of my strong suits. This is wrong. Reviewing both candidates, and knowing what McCain's record is on the issues, to see that McCain is good for the economy means you must be absolutely blind. If this was meant to be a joke...try again. ERROR 400: Funnay Load failed. |
