I agree that it's not black and white but the gay rights advocates argued that if a right to marry exists for heteros then it should be allowed for gays, much like was argued in the 1948 case involving interracial marriage. I agree that there is no written right to marry but I'm not sure the people can vote in discriminatory laws.your pal, Fred |
