Sooner or later it will occur to you that reducing emissions of greenhouse gases is good for the economy and good for our foreign policy.Yes and no. More expensive energy and fewer jobs is not good for the economy. Less reliance on imported oil is, but capping greenhouse gasses restricts exploitation of our #1 domestic source of energy, coal. We have the largest coal reserves on Earth. And those who want greenhouse gasses capped don't want the natural replacement, nuclear power. |
