Ummm...I think the constant hurling of the "racist" accusation has rendered impotent the use of it as a "weapon to shame". Most people understand how it's a canard, brought up mostly to sell papers and garner viewers.Next time some "white" person is attacked by a group of "black" people I'd love to see the media pronounce the "black" people involved as racists for once. `cause if you don't think "white" people have to experience being insulted and even attacked simply because of their skin color you don't know what you're talking about. Of course "most" people of all persuasions don't get involved with the hate. But it's funny how I never read anything about stuff I've seen going on, groups of black kids cowardly harrassing white riders on trains, threatening them and making the person feel like his life is in danger. Never see any editorials denouncing this activity. Many times I've seen stuff going on, bunch of kids capering around some old white lady and I've walked over to the lady or old guy or whatever and just stood next to them. Sort of announcing to the punks that, well, what's up?? That's one of the things I liked about living in Bensonhurst. That anti-white racist shit didn't play along 18th Avenue. No sir. |
