Burglary means no confrontation with homeowner occurred.In Missouri, if you break into a home and threaten the occupants to steal cash or valuables, and use a weapon, you will be charged with: 1) Robbery 2) Illegal possesion of weapon (if no permit or illegal weapon type like full automatic) 3) Armed criminal action - use of a weapon to commit a crime (will add additional mandatory prison time to your sentence) Missouri has mandatory sentencing for gun crimes: "Use a gun, go to prison. No probation." |
