Goetz wasn't in immediate physical danger. He used an illegal gun on kids that asked him if he had $5. He should have been presecuted for the assault 1 to the fullest extent of the law besides the illegal gun possession. If it escalated to a threat on his life he would have been justified.Of course he could have been aquitted by reason of insanity as by just looking at Bernie you knew he was a loon. |
