People usually keep this stuff to themselves in a confined car with 3 other people etc. I have the Dr. Dean disease though where I can't keep my mouth shut. I'll set everyone off if i have to. The klansman statement in question is...i don't want to say wrong, but misleading. The original Klansmen, a fringe insurgent in the south after getting sick of carpetbaggers and reconsturction hated everyone. Jews, catholics(papist), yankees. It lost it's purpose then an even worse pile of nutbags franchised the whole thing in Pennsylvania and Indiana. Smart kid, but I think he's looking for excuses when there's more of a cultural issue going on, and a huge schooling problem(and I don't advocate vouchers). But the worst public school can produce the brightest person. |
