I agree with you on the smoking regulations inside buildings because it has an impact on others, however that is where I draw the line. Things I would like to see legalized include but are not limited to:Marijuana Prostitution Posession of Iguanas as pets Posession of Ferrets as pets Casino Gambling in NYC Poker in bars walking through subway cars Fireworks photography of PATH and the Port Authority and TBTA bridges and tunnels. Internet Gambling Strip clubs and porn shops without the Giuliani era restrictions Unrestricted ticket scalping. Sports betting Drinking age reduced to 18 Gambling age reduced to 18 Speed limits set at 60 or higher on all highways including the Grand Central Parkway. Disclaimer: Just because I advocate legalization does not mean I necessarily partake in the activity. What is the point of living in a so-called free country if we don't have real freedom? We have political freedom (i.e. the right to vote) for our tyrant, but when it comes to being truly free we actually have more restrictions than the old Soviet Union with respect to personal matters. |
