Shocked the dude didn't have to completely save face in front of his girl. Nothing like a BS arguement that no one cares about, because god forbid she sees.Maybe it was his sister. He tried to say more to me after his initial "you did it too" comment, but I put my earphones back in my ears to make it obvious to him that I wasn't interested in listening to anything more he had to say. There wasn't anything else he could do, no matter how much he wanted to save face. He knew that complaining to the conductor would be pointless because I had been polite and non-confrontational. His only choices at that point were (a) do nothing or (b) move. He and the hott chik chose (b), getting up to stand in the vestibule for the remaining 10 minutes of the trip. My LIRR/NYCT blog |
