For once I don't see it. What do you do when people use a religion to justify specific hate. Check out Darfur. I never read the Quaran, I cannot tell you what is exaggerated or what it really says. What do you do when Mickey Mouse and Presidents threaten to wipe out the world if it doesn't convert, blowing up infidels so you can go to paradise. When you teach pre-school children that the goal is blowing yourself up?You tell me. It goes beyond KKK idealogy. Looks cultural and religious. Pulling out isn't the answer. Hezballah/Iran looks to be more Imperial than they accuse you of being. That's doubletalk. A wall and isolation seems like a quick fix. Oil started this. Ending oil will probably end it. When imperalist oil fantasies cease, on all sides, maybe pragmatic reason will come back. Though it'll take generations to undo the brainwashing. |
