Using the all or nothing approach would mean that Vegas wouldn't have the Hoover Dam powering it. Why build it if it's not going to power 100% of our needs right?If dams work somewhere, do that, if winds work somewhere, do that. I'm not looking at changing the whole grid overnight. I like their idea to completely bring the bus system off the grid, and renewable. |
