I agree: I don’t want the media companies getting into the file format business so that they can lock things up just as they like.But I also appreciate the benefits of medialess distribution. I have seen what time and abuse can do to CDs. Personally, I take the CDs out of their jewel cases with the liner notes, put both into a sleeve and after ripping, just store them away. |
