this President...is about to Rain Hell

Run away like hell would be more accurate.

The reports are that 9K to 10K more troops are going to the Hormuz Strait. A carrier group requires approximately 7.5K troops for operating the ships and aircraft. This means only 1.5K - 2.5K are included in the buildup. That's not enough to frighten anyone.

Supply logistics will be a problem. Trump's navy couldn't keep the Abraham Lincoln supplied because the Iranians took out US land bases on the Arabian Peninsula. Trump's War Dept. couldn't prevent the countries where those bases were located from being attacked. Those countries will be a lot less willing to let US personnel on their soil this time around. The US may not be able to trust these host countries not to alert Iran of supply movements

This means supplying the US fleet from the base in Diego Garcia which is 2500 miles away. That's a 5000 mile round trip for supplies. Satellites will track them for their entire journey. That's longer than Operation Torch, which was the longest invasion distance in WW2.

Another problem is that missles and drones have proven very effective at sinking ships. The Ukranians have essentially sunk Russia's entire Black Sea fleet. The Argentinians sank 2 British destroyers during the Falklands War.

BTW, Trump withdrew the last US troops from Iraq as a symbol of his determination to keep Iran off balance.
