And many Republicans are anti-Semitic too.My mother, who was an Auschwitz survivor, had hoped that by now, we would have matured enough as a species to have outgrown hatred. I'm glad she didn't live to see this. My uncle, on the other hand, who survived Bergen-Belsen and had little faith in humanity, told me repeatedly that it was going to come back. He was right. |
