Many of our states have native American names.

What outstanding native American name of that area could be appropriate ?

New Mexico Native American Communities | Pueblos & Tribes
There are 23 Indian tribes located in New Mexico - nineteen Pueblos, three Apache tribes (the Fort Sill Apache Tribe, the Jicarilla.

I lean towards " P U E B L O S " TO RENAME the state of New Mexico.
