The closest commercial airport is in Liberal, Kansas, about 40 miles from Guymon, but the only flights from there are to Denver. If your destination is toward the east it makes more sense to go through Amarillo. Given the obvious lack of traffic in such a sparsely populated region the extra driving distance is not a major obstacle. |
