That makes sense.
It's the millionaires they subcontract to and get kickbacks from.

All of the private student loan servicers are utter trash companies with millionaire owners.
Trash as in, they are really bad at it, they don't function, they gouge the government, and everything else.
The dept. of ed. can do better. That's how bad they are.
