I have always admired Rachel, a truly remarkable woman. She has always been known for her compassion and concern in advocating for civil rights among other issues. Until recently, she was an eloquent voice for the causes she and Jackie Robinson devoted themselves to over the years. Her interviews back in the 2010s with PBS, when the Ken Burns documentary about the life of Jackie Robinson was about to be released, and JBS which discussed many topics to include her relationship with the Jewish community and the(ir) "shared struggle". |
