This isn't good for great cities.Why? New York has always been a top tier city. If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere, so of course other cities are going to pick up the losers. This is also true to a lesser extent for Boston, DC, Philly, and Chicago. It is bad news for rust belt cities like Hartford and Albany because they are neither top tier, nor have any of the advantages of the sunbelt. |
