I wasn't pointing fingers at you. I was just making a general comment as a neighborhood resident about the issue.For IBX, lots of folks from Maspeth (I am not by the IBX), as much as they complian, could get good money for their homes near the tracks via eminent domain. I was told by my late father, that his sister got "evicted" years ago so the Seaford Oyster Bay Expy. could be constructed. She and her husband got much more than what the property was worth. |
