Having lived in the NY Metro area my whole life, my primary leisure interest is in Europe. So I'm glad that I live near JFK so that I can "hop over" multiple times per year without much inconvenience. The worst part is upon landing in Europe I'm tired from not having slept on the plane overnight, but then the first full day I'm all reset and ready to go.Even if I have to change somewhere it's usually not that big a deal because my hotel wouldn't have been ready for me until afternoon anyway, and I'm fatigued anyway. I'd never choose to live near ATL instead of JFK, no matter how many extra exotic non-stops they may have. You're farther from Europe in distance and you have less of a choice of airline (nothing against Delta). |
