I doubt that's true. Maybe not Mamdani and most likely not a member of Congress, but local politicians run the gamut. In Dearbornabad someone at a public hearing about renaming a street for a terrorist was accused by the mayor of that city of being Islamophobic due solely to his not wanting a street named after a known terrorist.Also, Mamdani is a Twelver Shia just like Khamenei. |
