That was a real pain if you had to stop on a steep hill.That depends on the location of the parking brake. The technique is to hold the car with the parking brake. Then you can start by placing the car in 1st and simultaneously easing up on the clutch, easing onto the accelerator and releasing the parking brake. This technique keeps both feet free for acceleration. I'm still not shiftless. |
