My 68 Cougar had 4 on the floor w/289ci V8 & 2bbl carburetor. That bad boy jumped big time. In the 4 years I owned it, Got speeding tickets on the Prospect Expy, Clearview & on the eastbound Belt doing 95 betw Pennsylvania Ave & Cross Bay Blvd. That was a sweet stretch of hwy. w/o trucks. Not much of anybody else especially at 2 AM!...except the man! |
