Most of us have have more important things to do or have little time, or less time to attempt to reason with people who have gotten completely unreasonable. It's like pissing into the wind.Silence doesn't mean "defeated" or given up, but instead value their time more. While I really don't have the time I used to, I also have little interest in attempting to debate with people with severe TDS, where it's completely taken over their entire lives. And I don't mean here necessarily,as I don't read much here anymore (due to time constraints), I have see it everywhere, seemingly normal people completely consumed in their hate and utter irrational thought of the current administration. There is NO way they will convert me in their endless rants, every day, which took over their lives, and it's fruitless for me to waste energy on them anymore either, as there's no way they will listen even if a real point is made. It's too far gone at this point. So think what you will, but we are still here, but have better things to do than to even attempt to challenge the relentless obsession. So don't relax to much, we aren't defeated, we just have better use of our time than to deal with this obsession may on the left have. |
