Posted by rkba on Wed Jan 21 10:46:56 2026, in response to Re: Kathy Courtney Hochul signs bus lane fines protection bill, posted by BILLBKLYN on Wed Jan 21 10:32:59 2026. city-sanctioned vehicle harassment has always been a thing, despite what some posters here seem to think.I remember an incident in the 2000s where warrants went to go grab someone, only to find that their unmarked was towed away while they were upstairs getting the mutt. when the cameras first came out, the job floated the idea of making cops pay any tickets generated by them. I think that was the last time the unions actually had any balls, and that got squashed immediately. |
