So like I'm up here in the mountains of New York right where the snow continues to pile up. I'll be getting up at 0330 to get down to beautiful Newark so I can work the 0836 to TNCM where it is not snowing. I have flown with the assigned FO before and he/she/they told me he/she/they enjoys taking off out of TNCM using "Takeoff Rated Thrust" so he/she/they can blow the people off the fence into the ocean with the jet blast. I do not know what the term Takeoff Rated Thrust means exactly but I surmise it means a lot of it.
So I just bought myself a Kindle Paperwhite and will probably be reading the latest issue of Vogue or Elle and eating a Stroopwafel or from a Tapas Snackbox during takeoff. Furthermore, as the highest ranking male stewardess on this board, there will only be a tiny, side-facing window to look out from where I sit so I will not be able to see the umbrellas and people somersaulting across the beach into the water even if I want to see it. Those pilots just do whatever they want to do up there. The whole thing makes no sense.
