It's disappointing that this isn't obvious to most people. I know that many people in LA share his sentiment. We even have a Metro board member that commented at a meeting several years ago that a man shot dead after attacking security with a knife after being asked to pay his fare was "killed over $1.75." She went on to say that perhaps the public would be better served if fare evaders were not confronted. So many agreed with her. Is it ideology or stupidity that guides them? |
