Greenville also has an absolutely enormous BMW assembly plant. It is not so much a factory as an industrial city: eight million square feet of production space on 1,150 acres, and 11,000 jobs. The jobs figure is just at BMW, not counting those at local suppliers.

Of course, New York will NEVER have anything like that.
