North Carolina BBQ is very unique in the US because of the vinegar based pork. You Don’t find it much outside NC but I recall there used to be a place in downtown Syracuse that served it. I think that they had it flown up weekly.I agree that the most similar is Hawaii. Not the same but similar. |
