To add:I wasn't previously aware of this, but beginning in 2020, elections for electors for president and vice president of the United States count for the purpose of determining automatic ballot access, in additional to gubernatorial elections. They also increased the threshold from 50,000 to 130,000 or 2% of the total number of ballots cast, whichever is greater. Thus, those are the 4 parties that met the threshold during the 2024 election, not the last gubernatorial election. |
