It's interesting to see so many wrestlers and bodybuilders use heavy amounts of steroids yet not go bald. They say testosterone and it's byproduct DHT are responsible for most men losing hair. I'm talking about older wrestlers like Paul Orndorff, Roddy Piper, Scott Steiner, Ultimate Warrior, etc.............Orndorff and Warrior barely had a receding hairline. In bodybuilding, guys like Tom Platz and Frank Zane seem to have kept their hair. Dorian Yates does have typical male pattern balding but he held up through his 50's. So, it's amazing to see guys abuse steroids and actually maintain a full head of hair when ordinary guys struggle. Some same men with high estrogen levels are less likely to lose hair. |
