In Missouri, Lance Shockley was executed for the murder of a State Trooper in 2005. Meanwhile, Florida carried out its record 14th execution of the year when they executed 72 year old Samuel Lee Smithers. He was convicted in 1999 of the 1996 strangulation murder of two women. He spent 26 years on death row.God Bless the Death Penalty! |
