I never doubted that he said it, but wasn't sure of the context or seriousness. By your responses, I gather that you hadn't actually heard what he said and weren't sure yourself.I clicked on a video link and watched, and yes he was serious. They were discussing the murder of the Ukrainian woman on Charlotte light rail and that if people were violent that you might have to force them into facilities and he added his dumb comment saying that they might need lethal injection. It's theoretical so not quite the same as supporting an actual murder, but I wouldn't mind if he were fired over it. |
