Posted by Peter Rosa on Fri Sep 12 23:07:36 2025 Thursday's big jump in first time unemployment claims is mainly and possibly entirely due to special circumstances, the expiration of a temporary state program that assisted workers displaced from their jobs by the flooding in Texas. It's not necessarily a sign of economic collapse. |
