True, but bear in mind also that you're looking at averages with some mighty high speeds at times, and lots of low speeds at times. The northern Adirondacks and the area around Ellenville have been demonstrated to be the most practical and actually have windmills turning. Definitely PART of the solution, but on quiet days, you need something else ...Three cheers though, it's SOMETHING ... |
