I don't know why Fisk Ave Jim and Catfish think the NYPD put the cigar in Galante's mouth.Me too and I just don't get it. For the last couple months I have been continuing my research into the DeCavalcante Crew, considered in some circles to be New York's "6th Crime Family" even though it is based in New Jersey near my office at the Newark Transit Terminal in and around Newark, Elizabeth, Union City, West New York, and northern Weehawken, home to the Lincoln Tunnel and Kate Pierson™ of the B-52s. I began looking into them back in the late teens but then got sidetracked. They are involved in the typical drug trafficking, extortion, money laundering, and racketeering along with cement, construction, waste management, and trucking. Anyway, I have been accumulating a lot of important information and discovered the made-man Louis "Louie Eggs" Consalvo is still a high ranking capo. That guy whacked the underboss Louis "Fat Lou" LaRasso in 1991 along with someone named Gregory "Crybaby" Rago whoever that was, in broad or unbroad daylight not really sure it doesn't matter. The crew is known to be extremely violent, not to the level of "Gaspipe" who was a homicidal maniac and a psychopath, but extremely violent nonetheless. ™  |
