I love the fact that my income went up upon retirement but I miss the job. I thrived on the daily chaos of subway life. I miss the people. That said, I'm busier now. I stay busy. I had a brief 2nd career and got to work in the movie business. I actually spent several days on set with Morgan Freeman and other recognizables. I did several electronic security trade shows in Vegas & Dallas. Of course, I still have my family, my friends, my model train club and my health so all in all, retirement has been good. |
