So according to you, “Marxism” was fixed in amber at his death and means the exact same thing it did back then.Marxist theorists invented “woke.” True that most people who identify that way don’t think of themselves as Marxists, but they are part of that intellectual tradition. The fact that the USSR, PRC, and their progeny haven’t been “woke” is partly how modern Western communists get away with their claim that “real communism has never been tried.” |
