ChiMan, notice I haven't gotten into this explosive topic until now? Well I wouldn't touch it with a 50-foot pole. It was put down to give an opinion and before long I get to read a litany of anger, hatred, prejudice and nasty replies that to me only exacerbates whatever racial divisions we have on this board.

I have a simple suggestion...Take Dr. King's suggestion and judge a person by the content of his character and go from there. I know some whites I simply cannot stand and some blacks who irritate me no end. I stay away from these people and they get the message and stay away from me. I hope this topic dies a natural death and we move on to something better for all of us. Just my opinion and a suggestion to go along with it. Thank you for listening. PS--one of my two closest friends are black.....it works for me.
