I only read the syllabus, but they didn’t go at the merits, and paved the way for someone to just file a class action which would work.

Barrett, J. also based her decision on the Judiciary Act of 1789 and not the Constitution per se, and some interesting stuff chancery practice in England before the American Revolution.
