ChiMan, don't want you and Salaam going at it so let me answer your question instead of putting it off as I kid. I am a big Civil War fanatic and a voracious reader of literature of that period, not the least of which is the fact that I love and idolize Abraham Lincoln. I think the Confederacy was an illegal outlaw bunch of traitors who were lucky to get off lightly. Yes, my opinion on that is extreme, but people who relished teaching and or studying that era are very emotional in their feelings towards the two sides in that conflict-----and, yes THE GOOD GUYS WON. |
