I can understand NYC cops having a hard on for Sliwa with his "safety patrol" in the 70s & 80s, trying his best to make cops look bad or ineffective. It was nothing more than sensationalism, vigilantes looking for publicity. Any retired cops still living in NYC should never forget that. |
