You can rank as many or as few candidates as you want.They go through everyone's top choice and those candidates ranked in the top 2 or 3 (I believe) move on to the next round. Round 2 assigns those who ranked any of the eliminated candidates to their first choice of advancing candidates. This continues until a candidate has the majority. |
