To me it depends how it is taught. If it is taught as a way to hate white people (or for whites to hate themselves) then I disagree with its inclusion. If it is included like Jim Crow and other matters where people thought they were helping themselves by making everything about race, then I don't have an issue with teaching that that doesn't help. |
