If the Air Force accepts the plane not Trump, even if it is at Trump’s direction, that does not appear to fall under the Emoluments clause. Moreover, the clause only applies to those who hold “any Office of Profit or Trust” and it is unsettled whether the Presidency actually meets that definition. |
