At some point, with no proof of life and with the realization that gaza's only leverage is to hold onto the remaining hostages, those souls must be considered lost.That isn't how it works. Redemption of captives is a high priority for most Israelis, and what you are suggesting would go against the social contract many Israelis have with the IDF. |
