To be fair to Mayor Bass she was handed a hot potato when elected Mayor. The town was going to hell in hand basket and she had the courage or maybe the foolishness of trying to take a job that was risky at best. The problem is LA and California in general is bright blue, loaded with liberals who put the smelt ahead of people, cheer on illegals while hard working citizens in the city are overwhelmed with high grocery prices, rents on even average housing is out of sight, where wages have stagnated and crime is still high even if the city fathers want to claim otherwise. And it doesn't help when native and residing Angelenos take a back seat to the avalanche of illegals and criminals making their way to the city. |
