Even in Nevada the EV charging stations are placed much more closely than 300 miles apart.It's more that you have to plan. And that you can't go wandering around a rural area at will without ever returning to "civilization" for a charger. For example, I can imagine that if you spend multiple days going hither and thither among Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef National Parks, and Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument between the two, you might have to leave that scenic area just to go find a charger. But you really have to stretch to find an example like that. Mostly it's just that you must always be planning when you're on a road trip, which is a burden. |
