Maybe they can make them justify the need for Drivers Ed or learner's permit's before you get your driver's license? While in Vietnam my NY driver's license expired. Although I had qualified on five different military vehicles, I filled out the forms, paid the fees, took the road test, passed, Bingo! The "tester/instructor" looked at me, and my military issued license. We made left and right turns with hand signals, made a STOP at a stop sign, a U-Turn and a parallel park. A nice person, he said "Welcome home." |
